Help With Pricing This Cake

A friend wants me to make a cake for her daughter like I made for my daughter. It is a 9 x 13" WASC single layer cake with buttercream icing with an edible image and some fondant accents. I will try to post a picture if I can get it small enough.

Any help would be appreciated. I always do cakes for family so I am clueless as to what a cake like like this would cost.

I make cakes as a hobby but maybe by the slice plus a little extra for the pic and fondant I see a lot of members charge like $2.50 to $5.00 a slice and www.wilton.com has a guide on how many slices per size of cake HTH

I'd say $5 to $10 for the image and $3 per slice.

If it were a double layer, I'd tell you to charge even more.

Thank you so much for your replies. I think I would have trouble going into business just because of the pricing issues. Just let me decorate and someone else can figure out all of the business stuff.
