I want to use some fresh flowers on my daughters bday cake next month. I was wondering how I go about getting these flowers? Do I just call my local florist and tell them what I want and how much? Or do I have to order them online someplace? When ordering them how early do I need to order them? TIA

You can go to your local florist, grocery store, or club store. Depending on what kinds of flowers you are looking for, you may have to special order them, but if they are your everyday roses or something like that (non-toxic, of course) you should be able to get them on the spot. As far as how far in advance to order, talk to the florist, and see what they say. Keep in mind Valentine's day is next month, so you may have to work around that, and flowers may be more expensive so if you can, see if you can pay in advance.
