A little piping here and there I don't mind, but over all, I've decided, I LOVE baking, but I HATE decorating! Anyone want to swap? icon_biggrin.gif I'll bake the cakes, you frost and decorate them. icon_wink.gif

ME, me,me. I don't mind baking, but I love the decorating. I HATE the cleanup

I'm freezing in chilly Eastern Canada...and obviously, the apprentices should get to pick where we have to wash dishes! LOL

THis could seriously be a side business for you...I've seen ads for just such a company in a U.K. cake decorating magazine. If you bake cakes for decorators, it would cut down their overhead tremendously. You should think about it.

Ugh, the baking, icing, and cleaning up are by far the least favorite things for me in the process. If someone could give me a cleanly covered cake and have all my fondant colored and tools set out, I'd be the happiest decorator on the planet! You can come bake for me any day! icon_smile.gif

I have long wished I could be an apprentice to a good cake decorator. I'm great at clean up and am eager to learn all sorts of techniques. I love to bake, make icing and decorate, though I have limited skills at this time. I hate taking the classes so feel I could benefit a great deal from being an apprentice. But you have to be nice to me. I'm a hard worker and follow instructions well. Just don't boss me around. I don't like that! Anyone interested? I sort of live in the middle!!

Ha! I'm the complete opposite. Hate baking, love decorating, don't mind mixing icing or colours, or the clean-up.
