How Do I Make These Swirls

Hi Im hoping you are able to help me how to recreate the swirls or scroll?

It looks to me like those are made from fondant? But you could easily do that with BC or RI also.

Beautiful cupcake...saw it on SugarBloom's website....she said in one post from her blog that it is fondant. She does fantastic work !

Hi KKristy!

Yes sugarbloom's designs are gorgeous. Just wanted to recreate something simmilar but was wondering whether she used a cutter or did she roll out the fondant?? My only worry is that if I make 30 cupcakes of the same design it might look different. I guess just want it uniformed.

Hi Callyssa! Thanks for the tip.. I guess it would be great to use RI but im just a beginner and I dont think my piping skills are that great.

Any other tips?

You could pipe out the fondant using a claygun. Then it would be a uniform size to work with...

i would draw out a template to follow so that the cuppies will be uniform.
