Well I have created my first gumpaste/fondant person. I have not decided if I like her yet or not. I made her for my daughters second birthday cake and I was using my daughter as a model. I was trying to make her a little spirited. She is going to be sitting on the edge of a large book. Her party is themed with ABC's and Books.

Thank you all for your kind words!! This morning when I showed her to my daughter I asked her if she like her. She replied "Oh Yeah Mommy". "She's Cute". That made my day. I was looking at her last night and just stairing at all the flaws I saw. I forgot that it was for my little one and whe I saw how excited she got after seeing it I stopped looking so much at the flaws.
She's adorable, I haven't had the courage to try it yet.
She's a cutie, so I guess your daughter is, too. Happy Birthday to her!

Some of the most gratifying figures are those you make of family members. I treasure them still (really, I take them off the cake and preserve them!) Your figure is adorable and, like others, I'm crazy about whatever imprint you used for the overalls! It's all in the details!
