Hi , im going to carve a #1 out of cake , and was wondering if i should level the top or would it look better to leave it humped up? Then im going to star it in. Any help would be so helpful. Thanks to all

Personal preference, I guess... I like the look of it leveled off.

Regardless of Shape or Finishing Techniques, I always....always level off cakes.

Thank You, I usually level as well, but i was thinking that it might give it a cute look, Its for a 1yr old's Birthday, Thanks i will decide on which one i think would look the best(:

Thank You, I usally level my cakes as well, but i just thought it might be cute for the 1yr olds Birthday im doing it for(:
