Need Help On Lemon Theme Cake

I need to decorate a 70th birthday cake and the birthday girl loves lemons. I'm hoping to do a lemon themed cake but need some ideas. I don't want it lemon flavored, lemon filled or have real lemons on it. I'm trying to come up with ideas on how to decoate lemons on it with icing, etc. All the searches I try tend to come up with nothing. Any suggestions or design help would be greatly appreciated.

Why not lemon flavored cake/filling/icing?

Anyway, the only thing I can think of is to make lemons and lemon slices out of fondant/gumpaste.
