I need some good advice. I am new at all this so please bare with me. I am doing an number cake I covered it with a thin layer of buttercream then but it in the fridge to chill than I rolled the fondant. Well I put the fondant on there smoothed it out and put it back in the fridge. Heres where I need help. When I got it out to add stuff to it the fondant kept sliding off finally I got mad and took it off and the buttercream was all over the place like it had been in the oven. I have no clue what I did wrong and why it kept slipping off. If you have any advice please let me know I need all the help I can get.
