I've read that people like Duncan Hines, Betty Crocker and Pillsbury all three--plus many off brands I'm sure.
I personally like Duncan.
It's a pure personal choice.

Duncan Hines. I've tried the others and I just don't have any luck with them. I used Betty Crocker just last week to make a cake and when I went to release it from the pan it cracked and fell apart. I NEVER have that problem with Duncan Hines.

When I went for cake decorating many, many years ago, the teacher recommended using Duncan Hines. But I do have to say that I like the Betty Crocker lemon cake mix instead of Duncan Hines lemon. The cake teacher also recommended buying a Kitchen Aid.
