I am going to make an eagle's head out of RKT and the beak out of fondant. What is the best way to mold fondant to look like an Eagle's beak without a mold for a beak? Does anyone have any good tips or ideas? Thank you!

Just from watching cake boss I have to guess they might use modeling chocolate to do this

I used fondant gum paste 50/50. Made a basic cone and then hand shaped it and played with it from there. Made indents for the lower beak and stuck it on a dowle that I had sticking out of the basic head shaped from RKT. I looked at google images of eagles from various angles and kept at it till I was happy. He looked pretty darn good.
