Hahaha! Of course!

She also told me that she was going to report my unprofessional behavior to the reception site so that they would know about me. Well, she apparently didn't know that they do know me, and that I've done cakes for them before and am actually doing the wedding cake for one of their event coordinators. So anyway, I called the site, and they said that they weren't surprised at the incident. They had apparently had to talk this girl out of having a local fast food place cater the reception! icon_eek.gif

-icon_surprised.gif You have got to be kidding! See, it's stories like this that make me not want to branch out & just stay by word of mouth reccomendations.

Be glad that she isn't hiring you, and don't open the door next time!

Who the heck is she trying to hire...a baker, or a doorman? icon_lol.gif What a freaking Diva. icon_razz.gif

ROFLMBO! Cause you know that every guest wants to get all dressed up for a wedding to be served a Happy Meal at the reception. I would take my gift back home with me.[/quote]

Hey, as long as they count the toy as their gift... icon_razz.gif

I am not amazed by the way she acted, I am more amazed that someone has an extra hour in their day to show up early for their appointment time. I am obviously mishandling my time, cause I do good to make it "on time" to my appointments. *shrugs*

I have to believe that people with this personality, and the way they treat others has to do with the lack of self esteem, or self confidence. Seems as if they feel better about themselves if they belittle or make others feel less than they are. I say THANK GOODNESS, you deserve to be treated much better than this! Someone should give her a Miss Manners book, she could use some.

I wonder if she knows the bride who had a beach themed wedding and served gold fish crackers from dixie cups for appetizers?
And not the nice dixie cups either, those little ones with the horrible 80's print on them that the dentist gives you the mouth wash in....classy!

That is so cute! Did they get married after graduating preschool or kindergarten?

My fav is when they show up "a few" minutes late and stay for an hour extra. One place scheduled the brides every 45 minutes the third Saturday of the month or whatever. It never failed that at least one always stayed to linger for no apparent reason. The consultants had it down to a T on how to get them in and get them out. Call with questions. I thought is was like a cattle call but they liked it.

ooh ooh- I had one last week who called 70 minutes early to say they would be there in 15 minutes. I said, "Well, you can sit out in the car then, but our appointment is at 8pm and I won't be ready for you." When did they show up? An HOUR late, and they stayed for 2 Hours!!!! I didn't get downstairs to work until almost midnight. Good Grief! I will have to be VERY firm with this one!

Man I don't know...........I really don't think she would get off that easy with me........I would have to dress this biyotch down but god...............coming to your place an hour early is beyond rude..........but then to call YOU un professional because she is a dillweeh? No she would definately have to be dressed down. I would spread the word to all cake decorators in the area that she is a Bridezilla.

She probably would have wanted a Twinkie wedding cake too, so you should thank your lucky stars you won't have to deal with her again.
