Change The Colour Of Sugar Pearls??

I have some white sugar pearls, and need them to be pink...i have powdered and wilton paste colours, but am not sure how I go about changing the colour of these things. Will they dissolve with paste colour??
Any help appreciated!! icon_smile.gif

I had to tint some green and yellow before, all I did was sprinkle about 1 teaspoon of coloured lustre dust into a sandwich bag with about 100 small sugar pearls inside. I closed the bag and shook for about 15 seconds...ta da! Worked like a charm. thumbs_up.gif Nice even coating.

take the powdered color and place some in a small tupperware type container then dump some of your pearls in and with the lid on shake. The should color very easily

I saw Nickolas Lodge add a drop of vodka to help the color adhere.

Thanks! I tried it, and the colour turned out perfectly, although after handling them it does seem to rub off quite a bit...I'll try the vodka! One for the pearls...one for me! LOL!
