I used edible varnish on a fondant piece. When it dried it was shiney but not as shiney as I would like. Is it possible to varnish it again when it is totally dry to get a shiner finish? I know it doesn't work well to go over it again when it is still damp - learned the hard way. Thanks!

I have never used the edible varnish, but I would think it would work. I use clear vanilla to get a shiny finish on my fondant.

If you mean confectioner's glaze, you can go over it again when it's totally dried to give it more shine.
