Sorry I'm being a pain -- I'm in a CRUCH

Ended up having to do a buttercream cake but want to put fondant diamonds and strips on the cake.

Do I need to use a glue or will they just stick to the buttercream

should not need a glue. Just a little water if it is crusting buttercream.

if you're using a non crusting buttercream, it will stick with no problem. If you're buttercream is crusting, you might want to use a little water on the back of the fondant piece to get it to adhere
