Your local health food store may sell unsalted butter that is dye-free. It's not white, but it's usually MUCH paler in colour than store-bought brands. Get ready to pay for that pleasure too though. (I've been in stores in Toronto that sell it for $7 per pound, yikes! )
You could try adding a teeny tiny dot of purple food gel to it. As it is opposite on the color wheel from "yellow" it may make it a little whiter!

Yep that's what i have but havn't had a chnace to use it yet. Some people were telling me that it made their buttercream go funny and that the americolour bright white one was better and they use that.
I also have the americolour white one and i tested a little sample of yellow buttercream and it actually did lighten it up. I will have to test my wilton one soon....
