That's great!!!! (My sister's a teacher, so of course I HAD to send it to her!!!) 
The first time I heard this it was from a private school in California. Of course it is not true as the school had no automatic phone system and a school public or private could never have comments like that. The story goes that after a stressful testing week and dozens of parents blaming the teachers for their own children's lack of effort the teachers made up the "phone message" for their own amusement and as a way to vent. It was never played to parents. But it is still funny.
