Hello to everyone that is up late working on a cake!...like me icon_sad.gif

I am soo stuck i dont know what to do...

I am making a three tier sweet 16 cake and i am not happy with the top at all...i like the look of the circles on the edge but the top part is bothering me...should i fill that all in with circles and create a sort of mosaic look? or take the circles off and do a box lid? or ...i dont know ...im tired and im running out of ideas...

Any help would be soo greatly appreciated!

I like the circles too but if you think it needs something else maybe you can add some flowers

Maybe 2 circles for the 16 to set on, in the colors of the circles around the edge? One smaller circle inside a slightly larger one, bullseye style?

I would put a green circle on the top to contrast the blue rosette and put the 16 back but a little closer together.

The cake looks great, if anything I think the 16 is lost. Maybe you can raise it up on some sort of platform to make it stand out if you can see what I mean.

My thoughts exactly. The 16 definitely needs to be close together.

You need to put the 1 and the 6 closer together. It looks like 1 6 , not 16.

Maybe some more roses on top all around the "16". I also agree - move the 1 & 6 closer together. Love the circles too.

Hey everyone! thanks for the ideas! i agree I will move the 16. I had to give up last night because it was 2am and i had to be up for work at 6am...not so much fun.

I ended up doing white dots all over the top tier with some purple and white daisys, and added a little bow to the black ribbon. I will move the 16 once I am home. I will post pictures of it later icon_smile.gif

Thanks again! icon_smile.gif
