Customer has sent me a picture of her inspiration cake! It's off CC. I'm glad I have something to look at but I'm still having a hard time figuring out how to incorporate everything on this cake onto a 2 tier cake. Wish somebody could draw me a picture! lol

I'm doing a 10' & a 6". Skull will be only thing on top of the 6". She wants it to say 13 somewhere on the cake. Black stars, circles and pink hearts. Any creative people here today? Please?!

If I were doing it, I would do the bottom tier with the black dots only, then the top tier on the sides have the 13, with the stars etc all around that tier, and the skull on top.

I gotta tell ya, im embarassed to post this sketch. My 4 year old niece could have done it. lol. This is what i envisioned when reading your post. p.s. those things on top are wires with stars and hearts sticking out and gumpaste 13. (incase my drawing isnt clear)

Thats kinda what I was thinking! What about the pink hearts & vines? Top of the bottom tier? How to have hearts growing off of vines? Argh!

Hahaha! It looks better than my sketches! Switch the dots & stars around, put the 13 on the front of the top tier and thats my drawing! Thanks to everybody!

You could do the sides of the ten inch Stars or hearts, and the sides of the six inch the shape you didn't use. The dots could go on top of each tier. 13 could also be piped on the side?.?.?.

You just make the hearts on the vines, taking the place of flower blooms. Used to do it all the time on scenery for romantic plays.
