yes, prterrel is correct. You can use the dusts dry, almost like blusher, or eyeshadow for yourself, but you brush into the covered cake, Flower, what ever item your intending to colour, to give it colour, shade and luster. But you can also mix them with clear alkyfrol (Vodka is choice best, cheap is fine) to make a paint
