Okay...so if I am going to make gumpaste tissue paper for this shopping bag cake how do I lay it out so it ruffles nice and not all bunches up in a pile?Do I lay it on right after I roll it out or do I set it between props and let it dry a few days?

There was a thread on this yesterday. I'll try to find it.
Just checked - it wasn't gumpaste, someone needed to sub buttercream for the gumpaste tissue paper. This will at least give you a bump.
I just took a class on making a shoe box with the tissue paper. We rolled out our gumpaste and cut it into squares, we also took saran wrap and cut that into squares... place the gumpaste on the saran in the palm of your hand and kind of squish it up til you have a good wrinkled shape. Then lay it down to dry on a cookie sheet or whatever and it will be good to go. the saran wrap helps it hold its shape til it dries.
Thanks Steph...That what I wanted to know!!
Thanks also TNT for looking for the thread!!
