Dusting on the luster dust with a small paint brush. Coming out very splotchy. Dark in some spots and light on others. Any suggestions on how to get a more even coverage?

Not an expert on luster dust, but I have used it on a few projects.

I found my mistake was, because of the price, I was trying to be frugal in it's use. Can't do that. Use whatever it takes to get a good finish, nice and even. If it takes a lot, then it takes a lot. When I need a good luster look, I just have to break down and spend the money.

If you need to cover a large area, try using one of those triangular make-up sponges. Good luck.

Big huge blush brush from the makeup department. Don't stroke, and don't act like you are painting. Dab dab dab.
