Help Needed--Working With "all Roads Lead To Rome"

am doing dessert for a pre-homecoming dance dinner. the theme is "all roads lead to rome". i can do a cake, little individual cakes or cupcakes. problem is, no ideas whatsoever. any help is greatly appreciated.

do a take on a stadium cake --

only it's the Roman Coliseum

sit it in middle of big cake board ---

have little roads radiating out in all directions

little arrow signs (like the ones telling this way to...) at edge of board all saying "Rome" and pointing at the cake.

inside of cake is decked out for a PAHR-TAY!

thanks, doug. love the ideas. i actually have a stadium pan, could possibly do something with that.
