How To Color Dried Royal Icing Flowers?

Hi. How do you color dried royal icing flowers? I used dust and vodka and it got mushy. Help!

just use the dry dust. or air brush if you have that option

I would dry dust them.

I color the royal icing before piping the flowers. Then use dry dust to add any additional color.

Airbrush or dry dust and if you must paint don't add too much alcohol to the dust,make a paste.
