Does anyone know if they will send tickets to my home for this or will I just be on a list? I have mailed my check and it has not cleared and the event is on Sunday.

Here in Ohio you are just on a list - you check in at the door.

Same here in SC - you just check in at the door. There is usually contact info on the form or the website - you can e-mail or call to be sure your check wasn't lost or mangled in the mail. Officers are "volunteers" - elected to the non-paying job - they have busy lives in addition to ICES responsibilities, so checks are usually deposited once a week or so - they don't have time to run to the bank with every check. It will be great fun thumbs_up.gif

Thanks... I am excited to go. I have never been to any cake event so I am excited. My mom isnt a cake decorator but I have to pass her house an hour from mine to get there so we will spend the day together so it will be great fun!

Do they sell things there? Should I bring money for new tools?

I am going also...I live in Alabama so its a 7 hour drive for me but I can't wait...its my first one ever so I have the same question should we bring money? icon_smile.gif

My drive is about 3 hrs but I am going Sat night to my moms and stay the night.. its about half way in between. You are going to have to leave early icon_smile.gif

Im also in a competition Sat. here in town. When it ends at 9 my hubby is going to clean our booth up im throwing my dummies in the car and driving the 7 hrs there, So I wont even get there till about 4 am and the day starts at 9 am then when its over I have to drive home...lol...whew excited and tired just thinking about it icon_biggrin.gif

I don't know the official guidelines on vendors at Days of Sharing, but we usually do have vendors and we always have raffles and/or silent auctions, so do take some cash. I have found some wonderful new toys at a DOS.

I have a baby bottom cake with a green ribbon, a fall 3 tier cake that is stacked off center, and a 4 tier blue cake with white star fish. My name is Jodi I will have on White jean capris but I have no idea what top im wearing. I am looking forward to meeting you and makeing a new friend. icon_biggrin.gif

Jodi I will look for you.. the green baby bottom cake should be easy to spot... those are so adorable.

I have no clue what I am wearing yet... I am so excited!!
