Same here in SC - you just check in at the door. There is usually contact info on the form or the website - you can e-mail or call to be sure your check wasn't lost or mangled in the mail. Officers are "volunteers" - elected to the non-paying job - they have busy lives in addition to ICES responsibilities, so checks are usually deposited once a week or so - they don't have time to run to the bank with every check. It will be great fun ![]()
Thanks... I am excited to go. I have never been to any cake event so I am excited. My mom isnt a cake decorator but I have to pass her house an hour from mine to get there so we will spend the day together so it will be great fun!
Do they sell things there? Should I bring money for new tools?
Im also in a competition Sat. here in town. When it ends at 9 my hubby is going to clean our booth up im throwing my dummies in the car and driving the 7 hrs there, So I wont even get there till about 4 am and the day starts at 9 am then when its over I have to drive home...lol...whew excited and tired just thinking about it ![]()
