How To Make A Baseball Hat?

Any advice on how to make a realistic baseball hat? need to make on for this weekend!

Hi
I made mine with a 6 inch on bottom layer and sportsball pan top layer...then carved to get even...
The bill i made by using gumpaste using an actual baseball caps bill to cut the shape putting a piece of parchment paper between the bill and the gumpaste. Cut the shape of the bill out then let dry on top of the real bill for about 2 days so it holds its shape. Covered whole cake in fondant and used stitching tool for the top of the hat and the bill....HTH

i made mine with a sports ball pan on top of 6inch round i didn't trim anything i have a pic in my photos it was my first time working with mmf
