Its a Baby Theme.

Both cakes are adorable so its gonna be a hard choice.

CONTESTANT A = The head and body are made of 6" and 10" rounds respectively, covered in fondant and all fondant accents (even his face). His arm is cake covered in fondant, and the headphones and mic are RKT covered in fondant. My favorite part of the cake is in the baby's facial expression, wherein I aimed to make it look like he was "rocking out".


CONTESTANT B = Cakes are 5â, 9â, covered with fondant.The diapers are rolled up fondant/gumpaste. Rattle is RKT covered with fondant/gumpaste. Bow, Pacifier, Ribbon, Keys, Teething Ring, and 2nd Rattle are fondant/gumpaste. All airbrushed with luster dust.

Both of your cakes are great. I guess I'm just a sucker for all the baby things, rattle, pacifier, etc. My baby is sixteen. My other baby started college this year. Guess i'm at the onset of empty nest syndrome. Good job girls.

At first glance, I liked the rockin' baby better, but the more I look at them, the diaper cake has a lot of great detail and has an overall more polished look.

Great job to both ladies! Beautiful work!!

Hard choice....I love the headset and mic on the 1st cake and the rattle and other accent baby pieces on the 2nd were great. Like I said, hard choice. Good luck to both of you.
