I'm finishing a cake tonight for a baby shower tomorrow. It's all baked, filled & iced and ready for fondant. I just realized sitting here at work that I'm going to attempt to put white fondant over chocolate! Is it gonna show through? I use Fondx. Should I roll it thicker than normal? I'm freakin out!

Hopefully ur icing will be nice and firmly set up before you cover with fondant, I would suggest rolling it a little thicker than you normally would, but not too thick, just to be on the safe side! I do white on chocolate all the time, its not normally an issue, except when it comes to smooth the bottom out, if you get even the teeniest bit of chocolate onto the white icing, its hard to get it off, so just be very careful with that.

Thanks for the tip about the bottom. I never would have thought of that!
