When cleaning tips in the microwave, are they then grease free and usable for royal icing?

Yes, that's why I use Dawn dish soap or anything that says it cuts grease. It only takes a small squirt for the bowl of water.

I learned it here on CC -- and was the BIGGEST opponent of it you could imagine. Finally someone got sick of me (I know, hard to imagine, huh?) icon_rolleyes.gif and told me to just try it once. Well heck, if that's all it takes... icon_biggrin.gif Now I'm a convert and the BIGGEST advocate for this method! Who knew?? icon_lol.gif
