Quilting On Fondant

Is the quilted look put on the fondant before or after placing the fondant on the cake?

I did mine after. I put the fondant on as usual, then I used the plastic imprint/embosser (geesh can't think of the proper name, I'm tired).

Then I used my wheel to make the lines more pronounced. HTH! icon_smile.gif
