I made my first cake including fondant characters !! icon_smile.gif

It was for my daughters playgroup, all the baby's are turning one.

Yes I know its not perfect & the legs fell of my people but its a start. icon_smile.gif

It's based on 'In the Night Garden' a tv show for babys/kids.

Thanks to everyone for all the help & tips.

Next time I will cover the board/plate in fondant... its a bit ugly.

That's excellent. Your Night Garden figures are great! Really accurate. I know how great it feels to do your first figures, so well done.
Bet you can't wait for your 2nd cake, now!!

what a fabulous job. I love the candle too. The colors are great. Be very proud of yourself. We all know what it takes to do this.

My daughter would have loved this!! Actually I think she would have been upset if you took the characters off and cut it. Absolutely wonderful job, you should pat yourself on the back and do the "I DID IT!!!" dance!!!
