How Do I Convert A Simple Cake Receipe?

i was wondering how to convert a cake reciepe? for example i have a book called the cake bible, if i wanted to do that receipe for 100 people what and how would i do it? usually the recipes are for about 20 servings, but i want to make the whole cake like that , how?

If you have the cake bible, she has a chart in the back on how to make recipes for larger amounts.
