I tried making sugar beer bottles and still need to practice. But didn't do too bad for the first couple I made but my problem is they are melting as they sit on the counter. Could someone tell me what I might have done wrong or what I can do to prevent this?
maybe you didnt cook it to the right temp. it has to reach the hard crack stage which is 300Â° Fâ310Â° F
if the sugar doesnt reach the right temp it doesnt set corectly
I agree with kayla. The sugar probably wasn't heated high enough.
Additionally, if it's humid in your area, like it is where I'm at, that can affect how the sugar sets.
