...in royal icing? Does it taste ok? I want to try it, but I don't want to waste a batch of icing if it's not a good idea icon_smile.gif

I have a friend that uses it in her BC icing, I don't care for the flavor of it at all, but she likes it. I would think if you like the flavor in BC than you should in RI also. But I have never used it in my RI. Sorry if I was not much helpicon_sad.gif

Most flavorings have some sort of oil in them, and even though it may be the teeniest amount, I would not risk putting it in royal icing. Any fat that comes in contact w/ royal icing breaks it down, so I would not chance it. Oil is fat! icon_smile.gif

Thanks for the info! I saw lemon oil in the ingredients list and wondered, but I didn't know for sure!
