Hi folks. I need some advice in a hurry.
I have been asked to make a cake that has four tiers and each tier
has to be seven inches high. The layers are 14,12, 10 and 8in.
Thats a lot of cake and I would like some advice on what to charge for it.
It will be iced with fondant and decorated with swags and call lillies.
I would greatly appreciate any help you can give me as soon as possible.
Thanks icon_biggrin.gif

Wow! That's going to be one BIG, heavy cake! Sorry, no idea on the price.

For me, this would come in around $1000, but I know some people will think that is low and some will think it is high. That is a huge cake! And 7" high tiers is another major thing to consider. Good luck!

It would still serve the regular amount. What would you do, cut a regular slice, and then hack that one in half? Or slice paper thin? Would look really funny. And the plates these 7" tall slices will fit on? Yikes....

I'd be talking at least $7.00 per serving, need additional support possibly. Would look pretty cool though!
