Hi all,
I am having trouble making cupcakes...

Everytime I make them they sink in the middle icon_sad.gif

I have been using silicone muffin tray and putting paper patty paper cases in them Would this the the problem? Or the butter I am using? Any ideas??

Thanks!

I've only had my cupcakes sink in the middle twice. The first time I took them out too soon so they were underbaked. The second time I accidentally used baking soda instead of the called for baking powder.

So things have to bake longer then the called for time when using silicone products? Maybe that is the culprit.

I would also make sure my leavening agents were not expired or old.
