i need help trying to come up with ideas on how to present 1000 cupcakes in the most artistic, outrageous, stunning and impressive way...

Sorry, no really good suggestions, here.

I honestly can't fathom the amount of space that it would take to display that many at one time............and what's more, I know that I don't have the capacity to transport that many cupcakes all at one time.

I have 3 carriers that hold 36 cupcakes each, so I'd need to buy 25 more--besides that being a huge, one time expense, they wouldn't fit on the floor of my van all at once.

Let us know what solution you create--and please post pics.

Without knowing what they are for, how about decorating in different colors to create a picture or a drawing or a logo? Like a mosaic?
