Adding Edible Glitter To Gum Paste Flowers

I have made several small gum paste flowers and need to add edible glitter to them. They are completely dry. Any suggestions on what to use to get the glitter to adhere?

spritz with water and sprinkle or if you are using pearl dust, a decorators brush with some vodka or lemon juice. Vodka dries faster.

I use luster dust on mine and I just brush it on with a small decorator brush
I'm not sure about glitter.

The edible glitter I use kinda dissolves when wet like even from condensation. It kind of clings anyhow--I'd just sprinkle it on and keep it out of any breeze.

I experimented yesterday.
Dusted the flower with pixie dust and then spritzed it with a fine spray of vodka. Seems to be working. Will let sit a while and check again and let everyone know the results. So far happy pixies!
