Hello everyone. OK, I'm looking for a tried and true trifle bowl recipe. I'm open to any kind. There are lots of recipes on the net but I'd love to hear from someone here on CC who has a favorite recipe. I would really, really appreciate if you would share with me. Thanks sooooo much!!
Hi Butternut
I had this at a 4th of July part and it was to die for. Everyone was pretty full from the usual food fest that the 4th is, but when this came out everyone found room and went back for seconds. Enjoy!

I have one from a book called All About Candy Making that I have, and would share with you if I could find the book...it's particularly nice using Belgian milk chocolate.
I know it's basically whipping cream and then adding the melted chocolate to that, I just don't remember proportions. When I make the truffles, though, they always go FAST>
.....oooh, hey, I wonder how it would work as cake filling...
Thanks Anna and I will let you know how it turns out.
nannie - oh yeah, that recipe sounds great too. That will surely be the one I try next. Thanks so much for sharing...
varika - hmmm, ya know, I think that sounds great as a filling... Give it a shot some time and let us know how it turns out. My bet is that it will be great. Thanks again everyone.....
