I have tried like crazy tonight to get a nice burgandy wine color for some fall Calla Lilies. I am trying to get them done this evening so that they will be dry tomorrow so any advice will be greatly appreciated. I tried the wilton burgandy with a little red, yuck! And I tried red with violet and still no luck. I even tried burgundy with fushia pink. It all looks like red mud. I just cant figure out what to do for this color. I know the wilton burgundy on its own will probably be way to dark.

I want that purplish burgandy fall color.

I know its hard to figure out a color from what I am describing, but any suggestions would be great.

I use either burgundy or red & add a touch of black. Works every time for me. Good luck! I'll be making burgundy flowers in a few weeks.
