I am wanting to air brush cakes. My question is do you have to purchase a special air brush for decorating or can you use the ones that they have in the art department of Hobby Lobby?

The hobby kits work great for large area work. It won't do fine or or intricate spraying. I love the hobby kit because it comes with jars and works like spray paint to add a lot of color to a cake.
The regular air brush is much better when you want to do detail work. It has a lot more control of the spray.
