I am making a 25th anniversary cake---color Silver
do i really need to put alot of power on it ....i don't like it at this point,
what should i do....

You might need a couple of coats to get it to look right.

yes, you probably would need a second coat and i also read that to minimize brush strokes, first paint it on side to side, then when it dries go over it agian up and down ,hth
I would make the cake icing underneath the silver powder, grey as well, that way hopefully streaks wont be so obvious. Good Luck!
If you want a really silver color I recommend mixing some vodka with the luster dust so you can paint it on, you get more of a true silver this way.
