Are there any ladies in the North Georgia area that are willing to share tips and advice on where you get your supplies? I'm out of the Buford/Sugar Hill area. Thanks a bunch!!

Cake Art PartyStore
3744 Lawrenceville Hwy.
Tucker, GA 30084

i'm in SC and this is a close place. They also have a website which is cakeart. You can also see some pictures from inside the store on bakerella's blog.

part2: http://bakerella.blogspot.com/search?q=cakeart

Just to get an idea of the actual store, there are some pics and you can go to the website to get an idea of pricing. I'll be taking the trip there in a few weeks and I know I will need a few hours! Can't wait! icon_rolleyes.gif

I agree with blessedist, Cake Art is a very nice store and worth the drive.

There is also Nicholas Lodge store, info. at http://www.nicholaslodge.com/ and this is their address:

6060 McDonough Drive, Suite F
Norcross, GA 30093
Ph: 770-453-9449 or 800-662-8925

It is smaller than Cake Art but you still find many cake decorating items and a couple times a year they offer free demos during their Open House. Join their mailing list and you will get e-mail reminders of classes, promotions and more.

Both places offer cake decorating classes and have good customer service.

And just in case, there's Michael's, Joann's and Hobby Lobby, which offer coupons (40%/50%) most every week, specially now that the holidays are coming.

Happy shopping! icon_biggrin.gif

I am also in Georgia and have been to Cake Art many times. However I have found them to be WAY more expensive that most on-line suppliers - even AFTER you calculate shipping. Plus you have to add tax to stuff you buy in GA.
