Can you mix fondant and gumpaste? I bought the Wilton gumpaste mix and was wondering if I can add the dry mix to my MM fondant. Will this make the fondant texture more like gumpaste or should I make the gumpaste like the directions say and then knead it into the fondant?

I use a 50/50 mix of fondant and gumpaste all the time. I would say that you should make the gumpaste and then mix it with the fondant. If you had tylose powder, you could just pour it into the fondant. But since you don't, I'd make it so that it will turn out right. Just my thoughts.
