I joined this study at a local university - my family and I have to unplug - no Television, no internet at home unless it is work related. The study is about technology and information overload at home.
I can use the email for work and internet for work related items only
I can't use facebook, my space twitter or look at websites such as cc.
I signed up for quilting for 8 weeks that will keep me busy plus the kids start school in 2 weeks.
I registered the kids for dance lessons and swimming at the local Y
This will be hard on my hubby, he works with computer all day but when he comes home no TV or internet for leisure unless it is work related. He has a to do list.
We have to keep a written journal for 30 days. Ok will have to sign off now.
Again, here are more cake websites to enjoy

www.delectable.com

I think what you're doing is really brave and I think you'll all end up spending lots more time together and remember what life is really all about. I wish I could convince my family (myself included) to have less screen-time.
I don't envy your CC withdrawals! I am so addicted to this site it's really not funny. I'm hoping the novelty wears off soon so I can resume my normal life! ![]()
Good luck bundtdiva
