Okay, so I finally have a specific question. Normally I just read past discussion and my questions are answered, CCers are full of the best information out there!
So here it is, I made a hawiian/beach cake yesterday for my dd 6th birthday. I made the surf boards out of mm fondant mixed with gum paste the night before, I had done this once before when making a Wilton bee cake for the wings.
Anyway it was hot and humid outside last night and as the night went on the surf boards slowly began to bend and fall. Should I have made them out of something else altogether or should I have just given myself more drying time.
