I need ideas for 20th anniversary for someone I dont know. they have 2 teenage boys, like camping, and went to university of Michigan. the person ordering the cake wants the college included. and left it open to what I come up with. Dont know if I should do a wedding style cake and focus a little on the camping and u of m. or what ??? help
you didn't mention how many you need it to feed (always important as it affects size of cake and construction)
so...
a really easy way to work all this in, is a "road of life" cake.

as you see it starts at some early point in life -- in this case them at UMich and then continues to today -- so easy to fit in jobs, kids, adventures, camping, etc. ending where they are now in life.
if they still live in Michigan can have a little more fun and have two geese driving the car -- they being MichiGANDERS. would also want to work in the ever popular why Michiganders answer when asked about where they live -- lift left hand, point to back of it in approximate location of your home.
tent could have UMich logo, car a UMich bumper sticker if they are that fanatical about their alma mater

What about a map of Michigan (either on a cake or AS the cake) with a few places of importance highlighted ... the UofM site, where they live, where they camp. You could use mini-3D structures of the Uni (or the emblem), a house, a tent.
