I've seen a couple of photos of a diet coke can cake but they were from 2008 . . . can anyone tell me possible what type of pan was used and how the lettering was done for Diet Coke. I want to make one for my boss.
pan: any size round
multi-layers stacked to get final desired height -- just remember to board and dowel internally ever 4" -- it's just like make a stacked tier cake, except all the tiers are the same size.
lettering -- easiest, if you have access -- edible image.
or just pipe the lettering on
or do a FBCT (frozen buttercream transfer)
or do a chocolate transfer (easiest of the two transfers to wrap around a cylinder)
