Chocolate with Mocha icing
Vanilla with------
Argg they all just sound so blah!

WOW! Those sound great!
I was thinking something simple...
Like white chocolate raspberry
Dark chocolate Mocha
Red velvet creamcheese
What do you think?
Simple with a tiny twist.

I think that sounds great! I've never tried red velvet cake, but the first two are making my mouth water.
I dont want to get to complex for these something I have tried in the past...
I have tried pear cake and something was missing.. needed more PEAR! Does your book tell you what will really give it that flavor?
I need to make 24 of each and decorate them and like I said for tomorrow! So I need to get started!
Katie
For the pear recipe they use 1 fresh pear coarsely grated (then squeezed of excess juice, end up with 2/3 cup) and 1/3 cup finely chopped dried pear. That's for a recipe for 12 cupcakes.

*Drool* Those all sound delicious! What book do you have? I'd ask for you to please post a recipe, but I'm afraid I would want all of them. LOL. I'll look for the book instead
Do you have any personal favorites listed above that you would recommend?
sambugjoebear, it's an Australian book but if you can get hold of it it's well worth it. Details are:
Australian Women's Weekly Cupcakes
Published by acp books
ISBN: 186396553-X
It seems to have a slightly different name in the US (don't know where you are) but this is it:

Of course, if you just want a few of the recipes I could scan the pages and email them to you.
