Newbie Feeling A Little Stupid!!

Hey everyone,
I am fairly new to decorating cakes. VERY new to forums and asking questions. I have been reading through other posts and recipes and horror stories and I am realizing that cake decorating and baking has a language all its own. Please help me decipher some of these acronyms that are making feel really dumb.

FBCT
IMBC
SMBC
PS based (I think is powdered sugar based.. please let me be right, please let me be right).

Thanks for the sight about the acronyms cause I have been here awhile and jsut slowly figure it out myslef! Thats going to the favorites jsut in case! lol!! This site is very addicting I am here for hours on end and my bf hates it cause i sit in front of the comp rather than with him!! lol opps!!
well, if you weren't doing anything then why does he get upset when are on the website. Isn't THIS doing something? It could be worse, you could be on the shopping webiste spending money. That might actually give him a legitimate reason to be mad at you. Doesn't he have anything that he is interested in?
