Cookie Icing On A Cake???

Hi I am making a wedding cake for a friend this weekend and was wondering if anyone has used cookie icing on buttercream frosting..it's white buttercream then she wants black scroll..havent used the c. icing wondering if anytone else has??? It's hard to get frosting a true black! Open to any other ideas! Thanks

If you can dye cookie icing (whatever that is) black, then you should be able to dye regular bc black, too.
